Collection includes correspondence, articles, lectures, addresses, bibliography, biographical information, letters of tribute, files on graduates (1910-1929), patents, photographs of farm machinery, and pictorial record of trips to the Soviet Union (1929-1930), Europe, including International Congress of Rural Engineering (1935), and China (1947-1949). Material exists on the annual meetings (20th-24th) of the A.S.A.E., with considerable files for the 25th held at Iowa State in 1931. Correspondence of particular interest relates to dynamometers (1912-1917), and correspondence with John Wiley & Sons concerning the Agricultural engineering series which he edited. Other correspondence is administrative, dealing with college and division offices. Correspondents include: T.R. Agg, R.E. Buchanan, Charles E. Friley, E.W. Lindstrom, Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing Company, American Society of Agricultural Engineers, J.I. Case Company, Caterpillar Tractor Company, and John Deere Plow Company.
